About Jess

Jess Huetteman, is a soprano and voice teacher based in Providence, RI. Active as a soloist and chorister, Jess has collaborated with various professional choirs including Ensemble Altera, Lilith Vocal Ensemble, Collegium Ancora, and The Union Ensemble. Jess has also enjoyed engagements with The VOCES8 US Scholars, Judith Lynn Stillman & Friends, Sine Nomine, and Coro Amante. This season’s highlights include A New Song: Psalms for the Soul with Ensemble Altera, Angel Voices with Collegium Ancora, Goddesses with Lilith Vocal Ensemble, and Cherubim and Seraphim: Songs for Soprano and Tenor at Grace Episcopal Church in Providence, RI. Jess will also appear as the Soprano Soloist for the Providence Singers’ performance of James Whitbourn’s Annelies on March 30, 2025.

In addition to performing, Jess maintains active voice studios at Providence College, The RI Philharmonic Music School, and Norwood High School (MA), and she serves as Board Secretary for the RI Chapter of NATS. Jess has appeared as a Teaching Artist for the South Shore Children’s Chorus Summer Choral Intensive and Quintessence Summer Choral Festival. She is a Level I Certified YogaVoice® Teacher and holds a Master of Music in Voice Performance and Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College of Rider University and a B.A. in Music and Psychology from UMass Amherst.
